🩺 How YNA Verifies Your Compliance and Credentials

At YNA, keeping your credentials up to date helps us make sure you can work safely and meet all legal and professional requirements.
Here’s what we check — and what you can do to make it easy for your onboarding or renewal.

📄 Verifying Your Documents

Some of your qualification documents might include a QR code.
If they do, our team will scan the code to confirm the document is genuine and hasn’t been changed.

👉 If your document doesn’t have a QR code:
Please bring the original copy to your interview or induction.
If your certificate is only available as a PDF, that’s fine — we may just ask you to log in to the provider’s website to show it’s authentic.

💡 Tip: Always keep your original qualification documents in a safe place — they may be needed for future checks.

🧑‍⚕️ AHPRA Registration (for Nurses and Midwives)

If you’re a nurse or midwife, we’ll confirm your registration on the AHPRA register.

We check:

That your registration is current

That there are no conditions or restrictions

That your name and registration number match your application

You don’t need to bring a paper copy — we can check your registration online at www.ahpra.gov.au.

🧒 Working With Children Check (WWCC)

If you work with children, we’ll verify your WWCC directly through the Department for Communities and Social Inclusion (DCSI) system.

What you need to do:

Provide your WWCC number and full name.

Make sure your WWCC is current (not expired).

Approve the link request from Your Nursing Agency (YNA) when we send it — this allows us to keep your clearance active and visible.

♿ NDIS Worker Screening

If you support NDIS participants, we’ll check your NDIS Worker Screening Clearance through PRODA (soon changing to RAM – Relationship Authorisation Manager).

What you need to do:

Make sure your clearance is current.

Accept YNA’s request to link your clearance to our organisation.

Let us know if your clearance changes or is renewed.
